Printed fabrics: jersey fabric at Seride

A jersey knit, or any other type of clothing made from jersey material, is made for projects that want to offer ample freedom of movement and breathability.

For this reason and all its other characteristics, jersey in fashion, among other fabrics, is used for sportswear and casual wear, but also for elegant and formal wear. In addition, jersey fabric can be used for a summer or winter garment.

Other characteristics of jersey fabric include its ability to resist creasing and stretching, to be easy to wash and iron, and to be the best choice for sports or casual wear. The production of jersey fabric requires a great deal of care and attention.

Our high level of experience in working with jersey allows us to be a leader in the printed jersey sector

All the fibres we can use to make jersey fabric

Jersey fabric is mainly made from cotton fibres because it allows a soft and breathable result. Despite this, jersey fabric can also be made from other fibres:

  • Polyamide jersey fabric
  • Wool jersey fabric, when a warmer and softer garment is desired
  • Viscose jersey fabric, for a more fluid and shiny garment
  • Silk jersey fabric, for a more elegant and refined garment

The choice of fibre depends on your project. Tell us the details, we will send you a free, no-obligation quote
