• Fabric coupling is a process in which two or more fabrics are joined together using an adhesive. This process weighs down the fabric and increases its variety
• Textile calendering, the process of finishing fabrics by passing the printed fabric through preheated rotating cylinders, which makes the surface of the fabric smooth and uniform, gives it a greater shine and flattens it.
• Water repellent treatment of fabrics, a treatment that, through the application of specific products, makes the fabric waterproof without sacrificing its breathability.
• Fabric lamination, a process of processing fabrics by applying foils of various colours and designs to enrich the final fabric.
• Anti-crease treatment on fabrics is an operation that increases the crease resistance of the fabric itself using specific techniques and products for the service.
• Anti-static treatment on fabrics, on the other hand, aims to reduce the build-up of static electrical charge on fabrics. This is a phenomenon typical of synthetic fibres such as polyamide or polyester. With this type of treatment, annoying static shocks and the accumulation of dust on the fabric will be reduced.
• Textile embossing is a process in which a fabric is pressed between two rollers engraved with a pattern to create a three-dimensional effect on the surface of the fabric and is only applied to synthetic fabrics.
• Fabric coating is a process in which a fabric is coated with a synthetic substance to give the fabric a different look and feel, as well as improve its strength.
