The chiffon material has a fine, soft, light and transparent weave, peculiarities that give it a very delicate and fluid appearance when worn. This is why chiffon fabrics are most commonly used for evening dresses, wedding dresses or summer clothing.
As chiffon is a transparent fabric, it is often used in combination with other fabrics or fibres such as muslin, satin or cloth. In the latter case, we speak of silk or polyester chiffon fabric.
